Shipping & returns.
How worldwide delivery, cancellations, withdrawals and faulty copies are handled.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Dispatch
Pre-orders are expected to dispatch REQUIRED BEFORE LAUNCH. A dispatch message will be sent when the order leaves Malta. Delivery times will be confirmed after dispatch.
Delivery charges
The charge for the selected delivery country is shown before payment. Rates are divided into Malta, European Union, other European countries and the rest of the world.
Customs and import charges
Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to import VAT, customs duty or handling charges imposed by the destination country. Unless checkout explicitly states otherwise, those charges are the recipient’s responsibility.
Address problems and returned parcels
Contact us promptly if the delivery address is wrong. Additional postage may be charged when a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incomplete or delivery was not collected.
Fourteen-day withdrawal right
Where EU consumer law applies, you may withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Notify us clearly by email within that period. Return the book within 14 days after notifying us and keep proof of posting.
Return condition and cost
Handle the book only as necessary to inspect it. You are normally responsible for return postage when exercising the withdrawal right. A deduction may be made for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.
Refund timing
Eligible refunds are made to the original payment method. Reimbursement may be withheld until the returned goods are received or you provide evidence of return, where the law permits.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
Email hello@matthewborgcarr.com with the order number and clear photographs. Statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are not limited by this policy.
